About

Ever wanted to know what it takes to become an astronaut or how they manage everyday things, like using the toilet, in space? Well now you can find out in our newest exhibition, Astronaut!

Take on the physical and mental challenges in the astronaut training center, experience a rocket launch, explore life on the Space Lab and investigate how to do science in space. Can you work together to solve problems or accurately land a capsule? How would you eat or sleep in space?

Through hands-on and full-body displays, this revealing science exhibition investigates the reality of what it takes to be a space explorer. 26 exhibits relay the physical and psychological effects of living in microgravity on the human body and the technology used to complete a mission. If you have ever wondered what it’s like to live like an astronaut, this exhibition gives you the opportunity to find out.
