IMAGINE EXHIBITIONS LAUNCHES NEW DINO SAFARI DRIVE THRU IN ATLANTA, GA

Do we need to say it out loud? 2020 has been a tough year for everyone. We here at Imagine Exhibitions decided to try to end this year on a positive note by adapting one of our most beloved exhibitions for an entirely safe drive through exhibition for the holidays. And we’ve launched it right in our home town: Atlanta, Georgia. We’re enjoying seeing our local community experience our dinosaurs up close from the safety of their cars—watching a child’s eyes light up at giant animatronic dinosaurs fills us with the joy of the season!
 

Throughout this holiday season, parents, grandparents, and families of Atlanta can pile into their cars and come out to experience Dino Safari, A Drive Thru Adventure. Having opened on December 17th at the North Point Mall in Atlanta, GA, Dino Safari is a drive through adaptation of our popular Dinosaurs Around the World exhibition. A completely COVID-safe experience, Dino Safari is receiving rave reviews from families in the Atlanta area seeking engaging experiences this holiday season.
 

With nearly 50 lifelike, animatronic dinosaurs in a pre-historic setting, visitors are enjoying seeing giant reptiles such as the mighty T. rex of North America, the gigantic amphibious Spinosaurus from Africa, and bizarre, crested Cryolophosaurus from the lush island environment of Jurassic Antarctica! Visitors can listen to educational content via an in-car audio guide and have the opportunity to purchase special dino-related merchandise. Simple, affordable ticket packages allow seven passengers or less in a single vehicle to enjoy the show together.
 

In addition, Dino Safari features information about geology, geography, and climatology, as well as the latest information about dinosaur biology. This unique drive thru experience poses questions to visitors about the reign of the dinosaurs and helps them discover how dinosaurs came to live on each continent, the ways that geography and environmental changes impacted their behavior and diets, how they interacted with one another and how paleontologists determined that birds are living dinosaurs.

This exciting new endeavor represents a few of the things we’ve been most proud of this year: the adaptability of our exhibitions to meet a wide variety of situations; our team’s tireless and passionate efforts to continue to deliver the absolute best experiences, no matter the circumstances; and the resilience that our industry has demonstrated in the face of great challenges.
 

In 2020, as consumer demand has increased for outdoor experiences, we here at Imagine Exhibitions have shifted several indoor traveling exhibitions to suit outdoor venues. In addition to Dino Safari, Imagine has also offered Sean Kenney’s Nature Connects Made with LEGO® Bricks and Dinosaurs Around the World as drive through experiences at the San Antonio Zoo and Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, respectively. Both zoos enjoyed great success from the drive through exhibitions, both in terms of attendance (many sold out dates and time slots!) as well as visitor feedback. In Cleveland, 84% of visitors rated their satisfaction with the dinosaur drive through experience an 8, 9 or 10. Imagine is poised to continue to offer high quality outdoor and drive through exhibitions into 2021 and beyond.
